Some families only have 1 child.

4. Sometimes, children live with their
mom, but not their dad.
This is called a single-mom family.

5. Sometimes, children live with their
dad, but not their mom.
This is called a single-dad family.

6. There are some families with 2 gay moms.

7. And, there are some families with 2 gay dads.

8. Some children haven’t got a mom or a
dad, so they live with their grandma
and grandpa.

9. If your mom and dad separate,
and your mom marries another
man, he is your step-father or step-
dad.
If your dad marries another
woman, she is your step-mother or
step-mom.

10. If your step-mom or step-dad has
children, they are your step-brothers
or step-sisters.

11. All of these families are
different, but they are all
families with love!
