per il piacere di padroneggiarli.Messa in atto di una serie di
condotte a vuoto, senza altro fine che il puro piacere del
funzionamento. A volte il bambino si pone uno scopo particolare,
come eseguire dei salti sempre più lunghi.
Semplici: ripetizioni di azioni semplici (scuotere, battere).
Combinazioni senza scopo: esercizi più complessi come allineare
oggetti e travasare.
Combinazioni con uno scopo: esercizi complessi subordinati ad uno
scopo come saltare sempre più lontano.

GIOCO SIMBOLICO: Un oggetto, un’azione o il corpo stesso
del bambino viene utilizzato come simbolo, ossia come qualcosa
che sta al posto di un’altra. Funzione: piacere, compensazione,
liquidazione conflitto, realizzazione desiderio.
Schemi simbolici: riproduzione degli schemi sensomotori al di fuori
dei loro contesti. Es.: far finta di dormire.
Applicazione di schemi simbolici a nuovi oggetti, far eseguire una
azione per finta ad un oggetto. Es.: orsetto dorme.
Combinazione di svariati simboli in giochi complessi.

1. Il bambino non tiene conto di alcuna regola (2-3 anni)
2. Il bambino si uniforma agli altri senza comprendere lo
scopo delle regole (3-5 anni)
3. “Cooperazione incipiente” (7-8 anni) = i bambini
capiscono che è necessario cooperare per garantire il
rispetto delle regole ed assicurare la validità della
gara; ciò è possibile perché hanno preso coscienza
della competizione

Implica quattro aspetti:
• la capacità di agire “come se” al di fuori del contesto
normale
• la capacità di usare come materiale di gioco oggetti
sostitutivi di quelli reali
• l’abilità di eseguire azioni abitualmente messe in atto
da altri
• l’abilità di collegare schemi di azioni differenti in
sequenze tematiche coerenti

• Decentramento: estensione dell’azione da sé ad altri

Gli oggetti vengono utilizzati in modo
appropriato ma al di fuori del contesto normale

Appare la consapevolezza della differenziazione

Livello 3: gioco simbolico decentrato
Compaiono due nuove modalità di azione simbolica:
nella forma più primitiva, le altre persone sono
destinatarie passive dell’azione del bambino, mentre
nella forma più avanzata sono attori, protagonisti
insieme al bambino.
Le prime azioni decentrate sono ancora fortemente
guidate dalle sollecitazioni materne

Livello 4: gioco simbolico combinatorio
Implica da parte del bambino il riconoscimento delle
diverse componenti che costituiscono una sequenza
di azioni. A questo livello opera il principio di
integrazione, che può riguardare le diverse azioni o i
soggetti che prendono parte al gioco
Livello 5: gioco simbolico gerarchico
Le azioni simboliche appaiono organizzate in
sequenze coerenti dal punto di vista tematico e
temporalmente contigue le une alle altre

Oggetti: è presente un andamento evolutivo nel livello
della sostituzione simbolica
Ruolo dell’adulto: esso propone dei modelli o stimola
l’uso simbolico di oggetti, e ciò favorisce nel bambino la
realizzazione di giochi simbolici ad un livello più avanzato
20. Gioco simbolico condiviso
Fin dalle prime manifestazioni il gioco di finzione ha un
carattere sociale:
inizialmente le persone sono coinvolte come spettatori
o destinatari passivi
successivamente la qualità della partecipazione diventa
più attiva e sostanziale
21. Gioco simbolico condiviso con i coetanei
A 2 anni: attraverso l’imitazione reciproca, senza una
vera coordinazione tematica
A 3 anni: scelta autonoma della situazione ludica e della
realizzazione del copione in cui i ruoli diventano
complementari, anche se il livello di integrazione è
minimo
A 4 anni: aumenta la frequenza e il gioco diventa più
complesso caratterizzandosi come gioco
sociodrammatico
22. Gioco di fantasia
Il gioco è definito come una interazione ludica in cui
vengono assunti ruoli immaginari tratti dall’esperienza
familiare o da altre fonti di informazioni come le fiabe, i
cartoni animati o la televisione
Implica 3 aspetti:
• i temi del gioco non dipendono dall’esperienza diretta ma
sono temi di fantasia
• la partecipazione sociale è un aspetto peculiare
• la presenza di regole che sono concordate dai giocatori
nel corso del gioco
