This is a crude calendar we use to schedule specific messages to help students prepare for the start of the Fall 2011 semester. This is NOT fancy or a set-in-stone list; it is built to be fluid while also making sure we emphasize certain key messages.
This document contains a calendar for January 2010 through December 2010. It lists the days of the week and dates for each month. It also notes any days with no school, driving lessons, birthdays, holidays, and other notable events during that time period.
This document provides the calendar for the 2009-2010 school year at St. Patrick's School.
The document outlines a proposed social network called musicHub that would help independent bands communicate with fans and sell their music online. It presents a lean canvas business model describing the problem of lack of revenue streams and dedicated websites for independent bands, and proposes a solution of an online platform where bands can upload and sell songs/videos directly. Key metrics, costs, and potential revenue streams are identified for the minimum viable product being proposed.
Small businesses benefit from joining together and professional social media experience. This document describes the Social Media Cooperative targeted at providing professional social media services to small business and leveraging the combined media strength.
The article discusses whether one tends to see situations in a positive light with the glass half full or a negative light with the glass half empty. Research has found that optimists tend to focus on the positive aspects of a situation and find ways to overcome challenges, while pessimists tend to dwell on problems and difficulties. However, both perspectives can have benefits and drawbacks depending on the context.

It outlines five key characteristics of social media: participatory, open and democratic, conversational, communal, and connected. Digital culture refers to the emerging system of values and social practices around news and information online. It involves how people use communication technologies, the activities they engage in, and the social organizations that form. Digital culture has properties in both the online and offline worlds, and is reshaping values and social norms. People are actively engaged in meaning-making online as participants, remediators, and bricoleurs assembling their own versions of reality. Participation involves people both consuming and producing information to help reshape society. Digital culture provides both freedom and challenges for people engaging in selection and use of online materials.
The document discusses starting a mobile valeting company. It will analyze competitors' prices, required equipment and costs, and calculate whether the business can generate enough revenue to be profitable. Tables show prices from various mobile valeting companies for general washes, mini valets, and full valets. The document will use the data to determine appropriate pricing and the number of services needed each month to cover costs.
The document discusses how social media is changing the rules for synagogues. It outlines 5 new rules: 1) this is an attention economy, 2) add value, 3) be real, 4) invest in and leverage networks, and 5) shifts in power from institutions to individuals. It provides tips for engaging audiences, being conversational, listening, asking questions, and allowing user-generated content. It stresses designing for highest return on engagement and implementing a strategy based on audience objectives.
