Express has developed a proprietary smartphone app called EX-TRACKING for Android and iPhone that allows customers to track shipments using Google Maps, view estimated times of arrival, receive automated notifications by email, and view the locations and availability of carrier vehicles. EX-TRACKING provides web-based tracking using only the Express PRO# and sends email notifications to customers at various stages of the shipment process such as confirmation, loading, delays, delivery, and proof of delivery. The app can also provide real-time estimated arrival times with automated email updates on 1, 2, or 3 hour intervals.
