2. Why the ESADE Executive MBA?
ESADE Business School’s Executive MBA is a monthly-format programme for high-potential managers who
want to combine their current professional responsibilities with executive education and career development.
Compatible with your work
Under the Executive MBA’s monthly format, each month you will attend classes for three full days,
from Thursday to Saturday, alternating between ESADE’s Barcelona and Madrid campuses.
International Exposure
You will spend three intensive weeks of accelerated learning at top business schools around the
world:
• Brazil: Fundação Getulio Vargas
• Asia: China (Antai/Guanghua) or India (Indian School of Business), upon availability.
• United States: Georgetown University
You can also choose an optional exchange programme: Join one of ESADE’s prestigious international
partner schools for a four-months stay to further expand your network and your perspectives on business.
Customisation
Tailor the Executive MBA to your professional objectives by choosing from a wide range
of advanced courses during the additional four-month ‘intensification’ period.
Career Services
This bespoke consulting service offers career-development guidance throughout the entire
programme.

4. Programme Structure
The Executive MBA is a 16-month flexible part-time programme with a monthly format. Regular classes end after 12
months. After this, for 4 aditional months, you will complement your training with a vast range of advanced classes that
allow you to specialise in accordance with your professional objectives and the direction you want to take in your career.

Application and required documentation
Application: Complete the admission application in the ‘Apply Online’ section of our website. In this step,
you must include your CV and passport photo and pay the €105 application fee online.
Required documentation: You must then send the following documents to your admissions manager:
1. Copy of your passport.
2. Copy of your degree certificate and official transcripts.
3. Company approval letter (ask your admissions manager for an example) or letter of recommendation.
Admissions test
Candidates must pass the GMAT (average grade for EMBA participants is 640) or GRE (average score: 160). We also
ask for an English level test (TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS or Cambridge Proficiency). Please bear in mind that each candi-
date is assessed individually and that your career path will be taken into account as well as your test scores.
Admissions interview with the EMBA Academic Director
If your application passes the committee’s screening process, you will be invited for a personal interview.
Full programme fee: €59,000
All travels and accommodation expenses in Madrid and Barcelona are not included.
