Erika Lynn Whitehead recommends Reinaldo Ramos for a position. I am submitting this letter of recommendation on behalf of my former colleague, Mr.
Reinaldo Ramos. I wholeheartedly believe that he will truly be an asset to your program
and your institution.
During my years as Assistant Director at Young Women’s Leadership Charter School, Mr.
Ramos served as the Information Technology Services Coordinator. Mr. Ramos was very
essential to the upgrading of the technology in our building at the time. He was
knowledgeable of our systems, and ensured that our staff were properly trained to use our
Promethean boards, document cameras, and student response systems. Additionally, Mr.
Ramos managed our computer labs and other technology equipment around the building, to
include copy machines, desktop computers, and laptop carts. Anytime I had a question,
concern, or needed something repaired, Mr. Ramos was always there to assist.
Mr. Ramos is the epitome of going above and beyond. He was always eager to learn more,
and do more around the building. While we wholeheartedly trusted him to manage our
technology across the building, we also looked to him when we needed assistance with
recruitment, student activities, etc. One year, Mr. Ramos even served as a chaperone for
our 11th
grade college tour. He made strong connections and forged positive relationships
not just with the faculty and staff, but with our students as well.
Mr. Ramos is a strong team player, and that makes him a leader in the organization. He
understands what leadership looks like, sounds like and feels like and he endeavors to
embody the characteristics of leadership in all that he does. If given the opportunity to
work with him again, I would unequivocally and enthusiastically do so. I can honestly say
that Mr. Ramos is a joy to be around, and is a tremendous asset. I still maintain contact
with Mr. Ramos, and continue to be impressed by the work he is doing. I do believe that if
given the opportunity to join your academic community, he will continue to do all of this,
