Day 01: Arrival inKathmandu
Upon yourarrival at TribhuvanInternational Airport,the airportrepresentativesfrom “Magic

Day 02: FlightfromKathmandutoLukla,thentrekto Phakding(2652m): 3-4 Hours
Afterhavingthe breakfastinthe morning,we gettransferredtothe domesticterminal of the
KathmanduDomesticAirporttocatch our scheduledmorningflighttoLukla.Luklaisthe startingpoint
of EverestBase CampTrekking.Afteranadventurous30minute scenicflightabove the breathtaking
greenandwhite Himalayas,we landonthe Tenzing-HillaryAirportatLukla.Thenwe meetourporters
and othercrewmembersandstart EverestBase CampTrekking,aftersome packingarrangements.After
a fewhoursof walk,we reachPhakding. We onlyhave a shorthike todayto assistthe proper

Day 03: Trek fromPhakdingtoNamche Bazaar (3440m): 5-4 Hours
Thisis the seconddayof yourEverestBase Camp Trekking;today,we walkthroughabeautiful forestof
pine.The walkleadsusalongthe bankof the Dudhi Koshi Riverthroughmanysuspensionbridges.
HillarySuspensionBridge isone of the famoussuspensionbridgeswe will be crossingtoday.Enroute,
we witnessthe wonderful viewsof MountThamserku(6618m).We passthroughthe settlementof
Benkarand Monjoand eventuallyarriveatthe checkpost andentrance to Sagarmatha National Park.
Before reachingNamche,we alsopassthroughthe lastvillage of Jorsale.Ourtrail furtherascends
throughthe forestsandbridgesuntil we reachthe confluence of the DudhKoshi andBhote Koshi Rivers.
We getthe firstsightof Mount Everestoverthe Lhotse andNuptse ridge justaftera final steepascent
for abouttwo hours.To reachNamche,we still have towalkfor aboutan hour anda half further.
Namche Bazaar isthe gatewayof EverestBase CampTrekking,alsothe maintradingcenterof the
Everestregion.We stay overnightatguesthouse inNamche.
Day 04: Namche:AcclimatizationandRestDay
AcclimatizationandRestDayAccordingtothe HealthExperts,we needtostayactive andmovingduring
the rest daysinsteadof beingidle.So,we eitherspendthe daytaking aday hike toThame or visiting
Khunde orrelaxingandexploringthe Namche Bazaaritself.Actually,NamcheBazaaristhe maincenter

Day 05: Trek fromNamche to Phorse Village(3800m):5-6 Hours
Our trail todaymovesfromNamche to Phorse Villageandisrathersteep,butboastsexcellentviews
overto Phorse andto the spectacularrivergorge below includinganinaccessible natural rockbridge.
We start ona level trail andwalkupthroughthe stone stepstoreach the Mugla Pass at the altitude of
3975m. From Mongla Pass,we can witnessthe beautiful glimpseof MountAmaDablam, Mount
Khumbila,andMount Thamserku.SherpapeopleregardMountKhumbilaasthe sacredmountainof the
patron godof the Khumbuarea.We descendtothe DudhKoshi Kholaandthencross a bridge andagain
trekup throughthe rhododendronforest.Eventually,we arrive inthe walledfieldsof Phorse.Aftera
short trek,we arrive at Phorse village where we stayovernightatlocal guesthouse.
Day 06: Trek fromPhorse Village toDingboche (4360m):6-7 Hours
We trekdownthe narrow trainthrougha MonasteryfromPhorse Village.We thencontinue ourEverest
Base Camp Trekkingthroughthe lushalpine forestsuntil we reachthe large villageof UpperPangboche
where we will getastonishedbythe dramaticviews.Onthe way,we passthroughthe villagesof
Shomare andOrsho. ContinuingthroughTsuroWog,we trek furtherupthroughthe KhumbilaKhola
Valleytothe ridge topfromwhere we witnessthe beautifulviewsof the soaringmountainsof Taboche,
Mount Thamserku,MountAma Dablama,MountNuptse,MountCholatse,andMount Lhotse among
others.We can evenobserve the beautiful ImjaKholaValleytothe east.Movingfurtheronwardstothe
trail,we eventuallyreachDingboche.Ouraccommodationtonightwill be ata local guesthouse in
Dingboche.
Day 07: Trek fromDingboche toDuglha(4600m): 3-4 Hours
We start the sixthdayof EverestBase CampTrekkingwithaclimbto Dughlathroughthe KhumuKhola
Valley.OurTrekkingtrail will passalongthe dryterrace withsome awesome viewsof surrounding
mountains.Aswe reachDusa (a yakherders'place),the valleynarrowsandwe have tocontinue
throughPhulungKarpo.There'sa CholaLake above PhulungKarpo.Aswe continue the trek,we witness
the majesticviewsof MountPumori (7138m). We ascendto Duglhaaftercrossinga small wooded
bridge.We stayovernightatDuglha.
Day 08: Trek fromDuglhato Lobuche (4940m): 2-4 Hours
We have to walkupthe steepterminal moraine of the KhumbuGlacier,beyondDuglha.Aswe ascendto
Chupki Lhara,we findour waythrough the boulder-strewnslope. We findanarray of stoneswiththe
prayerflagsat the topof the ridge.That collectionof stoneswithprayerflagsisusedasthe memorials
to AmericanMountaineer,ScottFischerand10-timesEverestSummiteerBabuChhiri Sherpa(Nepali

Mount Khumbutse,MountLingtren,MountPumori,andMahalangurwhile droppingdownthe Khumbu
Glacier.We finallyarrive atLobuche where we stayovernight.
Day 09: Trek fromLobuche to Gorakshep(5150m) to EverestBase Camp (5364m), back to Gorakshep:7-
8 Hours
Today isthe mainimportantday of EverestBase Camp Trekking,ourtrail toGorakshepgoesahead
throughthe side of the KhumbuGlacier.Ourpathpassesthroughthe pyramidsignpost.A small ascent
wouldtake usthe ThangmaRijufromwhere we can perceive 360 degree vistaof snowcapped
mountains.Aswe reachGorakshep,the surroundingsnow cappedmountains,includingthe topof the
worldwelcome us.FromGorakshep,we trektoEverestBase Camp.Afterhavingthe rewardingviewsof
Mount Everestandothermountainsaroundoursite,we returnback to Gorakshepwhere we stay
overnight.
Day 10: Trek fromGorakshepto Kalapatthar(5545m) to Pheriche (4280m):7-8 Hours
Today we will reachthe highestpointof the EverestBase CampTrekkingtrip.So,we make anearlystart
inthe morningtocatch the dramaticmountainviewsfromKalapatthar.Kalapattharisconsideredone of
the finestviewpointsinthe EverestBase CampTrekking.FromKalapatthar,we canobserve the firstlight
of the dayshiningonthe gloriousMountEverest.Similarly,the familiarpeakssuchasLingtren,Mount
Khumbutse,andMountChangtse amongotherstowertothe eastevenasEverestbeginstoreveal itself
risingbetweenthe westshouldercrestandNuptse.We cantake the picturesof the mountainsaround
us.Afterspendingsome hoursinKalapatthar,we descendbacktoGorakshep.Afterhavingbreakfast,
we graduallydescenddowntoPheriche where we stayovernight.
Day 11: Trek fromPheriche toNamche (3440m): 6-7 Hours
Today isgoingto be an easywalkdownto the loweraltitudes.Aswe follow the same route backtothe
terminal morainesatDuglhaandfollowingthe wide valleyof KhumbuKhola,now we have topass
throughthe beautiful Sherpavillagesof Pheriche,andOrshoalongwithShomare.We thenreach
Pangboche villagewhere we canexplorethe oldestmonasteryinthe regionwhichcontainswhatissaid
to be the scalpand bonesof repulsivesnowmanYeti. We leave the mountainsbehindusanddescend
throughTengboche Monasteryatthe elevationof 3860m before we reachNamche.We stayovernight
at guesthouse inNamche.
Day 12: Trek fromNamche to PhakdingandthentoLukla (2800m): 5-6 Hours
Eleventhdayandlastday of your EverestBase CampTrekking,todaytrekkingtrail hasdescended
steeplydownward.Therefore,we needtowalkslowlyandundercontrol asour shakylegscontinuously
battle the rockyterrain.The trail becomesmore level andnatural after crossingthe suspensionbridges
overthe raging DudhKoshi River.We start to getwarmedup bythe lightbreeze bytoday.Passing
throughthe lovelyforestsof pine andrhododendrons,we eventuallyarrive atLuklawhere we stay
overnight.

5. Day 13: Flightbackto Kathmandu
Today we flybackto Kathmanduafterour longmountainjourney.We catchour morningflightfrom
Luklaand afterabout 35 minutes,we arrive will atKathmandu.OnreachingKathmandu,youcantake
your time forrestor go for lastminute shopping.
Day 14: Final Departure
Today,you are goingto leave Kathmandu.We transferyoutothe airport fromwhere youcatch the
