thousand of trekkers each year. Trekkers usually fly from Kathmandu to Lukla to save time
and energy before beginning the trek to the Base Camp. From Lukla the trekkers trek up
towards the Sherpa capital of Namche Bazaar (3440m), following the valley of Dudh Koshi
river. At this point, the trekkers are allowed a day of rest for acclimatization. After then, a
few days of trek leads to the Everest Base Camp, via Gorakshep, flat field below the Kala
Patthar (5550m).

3. Itinerary
Day 01: Upon arrival at Tribhuvwan International Airport and transfer to the
hotel.
Day 02: Preparation day for the trek and half day sightseeing of Kathmandu
valley.
Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2840m) and trek to Phakding
(2610m).
Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m).
Day 05: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar.
Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3860m).
Day 07: Tengboche to Dingboche (4410m).
Day 08: Dingboche to Dughla (4620m).
Day 09: Dughla to Lobuche (4910m).
Day 10: Lobuche-Gorak Shep-kala Patthar (5550m)-Gorak Shep (5140m).
Day 11: Gorak Shep to Everest Base Camp (5364m) and back to Lobuche.
Day 12: Lobuche to Pangboche (3930m).
Day 13: Pangboche to Namche Bazar.
Day 14: Namche Bazar to Lukla.
Day 15: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu (35 min).
Day 16: Final departure or transfer to the next destination.
