St. Louis Symphony presents Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets at Powell Symphony
Hall in Grand Center (Sept. 15-17; visit website for show times) — In Harry Potter and the Chamber of Se-
cret, cars fly, trees fight back and a mysterious house pays Harry a visit to warn him of what lies ahead. This
film concert series will be conducted by its creator and producer, Justin Freer. Go to:

Kirkwood Greentree Festival in Kirkwood Park (Sept. 15-17; Fri. 5-10 pm—no arts and crafts booths
open Fri. night; Sat. 9 am-6 pm; Sun. 10 am-5 pm) — This popular fall festival includes a parade, a book fair, a
classic car show, arts and crafts booths, and more. Kids’ fun includes a dog show, a canine frisbee contest and

HOP in the City Beer Festival at the Schlafly Tap Room (Sat. Sept. 16, 11 am-5 pm; tasting session
Noon-4 pm) — Every year, Schlafly Beer brews a ton of different beer styles and at this event, you can try out a
“mere” 40 of them! Purchase a “Tasting Ticket” to enjoy unlimited beer samples or purchase a “Lot Ticket” to

South Grand 4th Fall Fest (Sat. Sept. 16; 10 am-10 pm) — Local artists, musicians, dancers, vendors and
craft zone are highlights of this fourth annual event celebrating the best of this vibrant South Grand neighbor-

Augusta’s 14th Annual Harvest Festival 2017 in Augusta, MO (Sept. 15 & 16—Fri. Sept. 15, event
opens 4 pm; Sat. Sept. 16, event opens 8 am) — This annual fall festival in Missouri’s wine country offers a har-
vest of fun! The festival attractions includes the chance to explore a day in the life of a German immigrant at the

St. Louis Renaissance Festival at Rotary Park in Wentzville, MO (Open Saturdays and Sundays be-
ginning Sat. Sept. 16 through Sun. Oct. 15; 10 am-6 pm) — Travel back in time and step into the beautifully
wooded, 16th century village called Petit Lyon. Live armored jousting, artisan shops, food, live entertainment,
