2. Situation: Atmiya Premier League is an
annual cricket tournament conducted by
the Hindu Mandir in Mississauga. The
main purpose of this tournament is to
promote harmony between the players of
the twelve participating teams through
sport.
Task: I was one of the fast paced bowlers
of a team named ‘Scarborough Strikers.
My task was to open the bowling for the
team and to take early wickets.
Action: I took many wickets in the early
overs of more than 7 matches and used
my pace effectively.
Result: I was declared as the
‘Player/Man of the Series’ for my
exceptional bowling skills and also for the
display of qualities such as
sportsmanship, team spirit and my
dedication & passion towards the game.

3. CERTIFICATES EARNED
Situation: Grade 10 and grade 12 exams in
Gujarat state, India are conducted by a state
run board of studies. It is necessary to clear
both these exams in order to apply to any
university or college in India.
Task: I had to study throughout the year for
appearing for these exams. Also, I had to score
good grades for getting accepted to a reputed
university.
Action: I studied sincerely for the exam
completed my assignments and practical's in
order to score a good grades.
Result: I was awarded these certificates for
passing both the examinations. I used them to
apply for my further studies at centennial
college.

4. JOB FAIR
Situation: I will graduate from
centennial college in April 2013
and it is beneficial to start
searching for suitable jobs from
now on.
Task: I had to research on the
various job which were to be
conducted in Toronto and had
to prepare an impressive
resume.
Action: I handed out my resume
to almost all the companies in
the fir at metro convention
center. I had done a deep
research of the visiting
companies and their available
employee positions.
Result: I got a good knowledge
of the present job scenario in
Toronto and am waiting for a
positive reply.

5. SEMINAR
Situation: being an international
student it was essential for me
to know the various immigration
and work permit rules in
Canada.
Task: centennial college had
hosted a seminar where
officials from CIC were present
to guide student with the
immigration process. I had to
attend the seminar conducted
after my regular college timings.
Action: I attended the seminar
and took notes and procedures.
I also asked some personal
questions to the officials and
they were keen to help.
Result: I have a strong
knowledge of the various rules
and regulations and can now
shape my future in Canada.

6. PRESENTATION
Situation: I had to give a presentation
for GNED-160 Customer Service.
Task: I had to choose a multinational
companies for presenting their
customer services.
Action: I choose Virgin Atlantic Airlines
and did a deep research on the various
services they provide to the customer. I
read reviews from various customers
and combined them to present them.
Result: the teacher liked the
presentation a lot and she graded me
with an A+ for the presentation.
