Throughout the course, I have been introduced to
some new websites and software, some of which I
didn't even knew existed, and some I heard of, but
didn't know it's purpose
Blogger
I hadn't of heard of blogger before I started this
course, but now I'm well aware of it's use, I
think it's a great website, probably one of the
best blogging websites out there, as the overall
design of the blog is easy to navigate and
aesthetically pleasing. I also think it's a plus that
it's free, which potentially means it can gain
lots of new users daily.
Prezi
I also did not know of Prezi before starting this
course, but now have found myself using it in
both my evaluation and on other parts of my
blog, I think it's a great tool for presenting
things, as the interface is easy to understand
and pick up quickly, It also makes presenting
things a lot more fancy than they probably are,
which is a good thing.
Indesign
I was also unaware of Indesign, but after using
it a few times, I was actually quite surprised at
how technical and how high standard this
program was, this took a lot of practice to get
the hang of, but it was worth it, I still don't think
I've grasped the programme enough to unlock
it's full potential.
Photoshop
Photoshop is the only program I had any
previous experience with and knew it's purpose,
however, I didn't really know how to use it
properly, and I still don't have a huge
understanding, I think the application was very
useful however, in editing my images, the
images wouldn't look as professional or high
quality without the use of Photoshop.
Slideshare
I also had no Idea Slideshare existed, let alone
knew how to use it, after giving it a trail run I
realised how easy it was to use, but how good it
could be to emphasise points on powerpoint,
and how easy it was to get presentations
online, (I'm even using it now for my
evaluation!)
