The document discusses Hollie Ward's evaluation of her stop motion animation project. She worked with another student to create a stop motion animation based on the film Footloose, using dancing shoes and hands spelling out words. They had several initial ideas but settled on using shoes dancing and hands forming letters. While the project went well overall, they faced some limitations including an unfavorable background location for shooting and camera issues that made the process more difficult.

Contents of Memorandum of Association:
Name Clause: This clause states the name of the company, which should end with words like "Limited" or "Ltd." for a public limited company and "Private Limited" or "Pvt. Ltd." for a private limited company.

Registered Office Clause: It specifies the location where the company's registered office is situated. This office is where all official communications and notices are sent.

Liability Clause: It outlines the extent of liability of the company's members. In the case of companies limited by shares, the liability of members is limited to the amount unpaid on their shares. Capital Clause: This clause specifies the authorized capital of the company, i.e., the maximum amount of share capital the company is authorized to issue. It also mentions the division of this capital into shares and their respective nominal value.
Association Clause: It simply states that the subscribers wish to form a company and agree to become members of it, in accordance with the terms of the MOA.
Importance of Memorandum of Association:
Legal Requirement: The MOA is a legal requirement for the formation of a company. It must be filed with the Registrar of Companies during the incorporation process.
Constitutional Document: It serves as the company's constitutional document, defining its scope, powers, and limitations.
Protection of Members: It protects the interests of the company's members by clearly defining the objectives and limiting their liability.

Binding Authority: The company and its members are bound by the provisions of the MOA. Any action taken beyond its scope may be considered ultra vires (beyond the powers) of the company and therefore void.
Amendment of MOA:
While the MOA lays down the company's fundamental principles, it is not entirely immutable. It can be amended, but only under specific circumstances and in compliance with legal procedures. Amendments typically require shareholder

2. BUILDING A NARRATIVE. DID YOU FIND THIS DIFFICULT? Before creating my stop motion animation we had many ideas of things that we could do. I enjoyed the freedom of being able to show our creativity and choose our own summer project. It was challenging at first to come up with my stop motion animation as I was unsure of how to create it but once we had put our ideas together chosen something to base them on it became easier. After considering a number of possibilities, we chose to use the film footloose to focus our animation on. This gave us an idea to base our narrative on.
3. BUILDING A NARRATIVE. HOW DID YOU DECIDE WHAT TO USE? AFTER COMING UP WITH THE IDEA OF BASING OUR PROJECT ON FOOTLOOSE WE THEN WENT ONTO CREATE A NARRATIVE OF DANCING SHOES. WE CONSIDERED A NUMBER OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF SHOES BUT FINALLY DECIDED WE THOUGHT HIGH HEELS WOULD LOOK BEST. WE USED 4 PAIRS OF HEELS TO CREATE THE STOP MOTION ANIMATION WE ALSO USED HANDS TO SPELL OUT THE LETTERS OF AQUINAS 2011.
4. BUILDING A NARRATIVE. DRAFTING- HOW MANY IDEAS DID YOU HAVE? WE HAD A NUMBER OF DIFFERENT IDEAS FOR WHAT OUR SUMMER PROJECT COULD BE. WE EVENTUALLY NARROWED IT DOWN TO THREE IDEAS THAT WE WOULD THEN CHOOSE FROM; THESE WERE: DANCING FEET USING HANDS AS SYMBOLS (WORDS) MOVING STATIONARY (CREATING WORDS. WE THEN DECIDED THAT WE WOULD USE THE THEME OF FOOTLOOSE AND USE THE DANCING FEET THEN AFTERWARDS WE INCORPORATED USING HANDS TO SPELL OUT WORDS AS THIS ALSO FITTED IN WITH THIS THEME.
5. BUILDING A NARRATIVE. DID YOU WORKING WITH ANYONE? I WORKED WITH ANOTHER AQUINAS STUDENT OUT OF MY MEDIA CLASS. WE WORKED WELL TOGETHER AS WE CAME UP WITH A NUMBER OF IDEAS SEPERATELY THEN PUT THEM TOGETHER AND WORKED TO MAKE THE MOST CREATIVE NARRATIVE POSSIBLE. WE SHARED THE TASK EQUALLY, FOR EXAMPLE I TOOK THE PICTURES OF HER FEET IN THE SHOES AND SHE TOOK THE PICTURES OF MY HANDS MAKING THE LETTERS.
6. BUILDING A NARRATIVE. WERE THERE ANY LIMITATIONS IN TERMS OF RESOURCES, TIME, LOCATION? ALTHOUGH IN GENERAL OUR STOP MOTION ANIMATION WENT WELL THERE ARE SOME IMPROVEMENTS THAT COULD HAVE BEEN MADE IF WE DIDN’T HAVE CERTAIN LIMITATIONS. E.G. LOCATION: THE HOUSE THAT WE USED TO TAKE OUR SHOTS DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH PLAIN WHITE WALL FOR A BACKGROUND, THIS MEANT WE ENDED UP HAVING THINGS LIKE THE RADIATOR IN THE SHOTS WHICH MADE IT LOOK UNPROFESSIONAL. RESOURCES: THE CAMERA THAT WE USED TO SHOOT THE STOP MOTION ANIMATION WITH KEPT HAVING PROBLEMS AND WOULD NOT TAKE WHEN WE WANTED IT TO MAKING THE PROCCESS MORE DIFFICULT.
