ERASMUS +
Project Erasmus+ 2016
“Euro trading,
young entrepreneurs on the move”
Questionnaire 5
26.11.2017 – 2.12.2017
2. 2
From November 26, 2017 to December 2, 2017, another activity was carried out as part of the
Erasmus + Project in Doberlug-Kirchain,.
The main theme of the project focuses on the issue of entrepreneurship of young people today. The
pupils presented this entrepreneurship during the Christmas market, which took place at the local
Berg-Grundschule primary school. During the fair, students sold previously prepared Christmas
decorations. The children had the opportunity to learn about the functioning of the German school
from the inside out. As participants of everyday classes at school, together with their German friends,
they took part in many interesting lessons. Their afternoons, spent in nice and warm homes of
German families, were also full of interesting activities.
Students participated in many workshops prepared by the project coordinator in Germany, Ms. Utę
Ksienrzyk. The children had the opportunity to test their culinary skills by taking part in confectionery
workshops at the local Gabler confectionery. The castle in Doberlug showed children the realities of
life of monks, and also taught patience, offering interesting calligraphy workshops. Thanks to the
courtesy of the local garden center, we could make Christmas decorations ourselves.
An unforgettable experience was also the participation in the traditional Christmas market in
Dresden and Leipzig. We also visited Wittenberg, the city of Martin Luther; we had the opportunity
to stand at the most famous place in Wittenberg - the door of the castle church. It was there that
Martin Luther, on October 31, 1517, was to suspend his 95 theses. In the same city, students had the
opportunity to visit the science center "Adventure with Maths".
In summary, both students and teachers have gained the enormity of the benefits of visiting a
partner school in Germany. The need to communicate in English made students aware of how much
they can do, and their self-confidence in language skills has become established.
