- 2. RANGIORA CHILDRENS ATTRACTIONS • In S6 we have decided that there is a shortage of attractions for kids to occupy themselves with, which is why we have surveyed, chose and designed the attraction which you will find in this proposal. As well as some attraction ideas in this proposal you will find our survey charts, some possible sites to house our attraction and some designs. Also you will find some informative info on our comparison towns which we are sure you will find interesting. Now getting onto our attraction, S6 has decided as a class that there are not many (if any) attractions for the children of Rangiora to occupy themselves with now that the movie theatre has been closed down . This is why we have thoroughly researched, surveyed and chose this attraction. You may ask why we are doing this, Well as Children we believe that there are not many places in Rangiora that we can actually hangout with our friends and have a good time, as you will find in the results of our survey. •

GO-KARTING • Why Should we have Go-Karting in Rangiora ? • As we have stated earlier in this presentation we do not think that there are many attractions for children to occupy themselves with, which is why we have decided that Go- Karting would be a great thing in Rangiora because it is a great way to spend time with friends. • Is Go-Karting a Financially Viable option ( For both the Retailer and the Customer ) ? • Yes it will be for both the Retailer and the Customer if it tickets are sold at a price which still makes money for the retailer but is affordable for the children of Rangiora.
- 4. MOVIE THEATRE • Why should we Have a Movie Theatre In Rangiora? • Well, as you already know we have not had a movie theatre since the the earthquakes which were over 3 years ago. The movie theatre is scheduled to re-open in February next year which means that we will have to go for a whole year with out a movie theatre. That means that if we want to see a movie we will have to go to all the way to Christchurch to see a movie. • Will Children actually go to the Movie Theatre? • Yes, They will. As you may already know that movie theatres have been around for ages. Did you know that movie theatres have been around for over 120 years! Also children would love to have a movie theatre in Rangiora because then they wouldn’t have to go to town to see all the new movies. • Make the popcorn flavour EXTRA BUTTER from Eugene

- 8. COMPARISON TOWN : RICHMOND (NELSON, TASMAN) • Population: 12,273 ( as of the 2013 census*) Richmond Is situated 13 kilometres south of Nelson. Richmond is a part of the Tasman region which covers the top of the South Island of New Zealand. Richmond is a great place which is packed with attractions for young and old. Here are just a few of the great things Richmond has to offer. Go Karts, Four Museums, a softball stadium, a shooting academy, international raceway, Mini golf, bumper boats, sack racing and hydroslides. *Stats Nz
