During Mass, Bishop Claudio Gatti experienced a Eucharistic miracle in Rome, Italy on June 11, 2000. As he finished consecrating the bread, blood began flowing from the host he held in his hands. When he elevated the host, those present saw it was stained with blood. He later saw two additional hosts in the paten that had been rescued from desecration. When he broke the bread, blood continued to drip from the consecrated host before the eyes of those present. This miracle confirms previous Eucharistic miracles that have been rejected by the Church.
