In today’s digital focused world, brands have so many different channels to engage customers but email marketing still surpasses all digital marketing channels including social media. According to recent studies, email marketing has the largest user base overall, is the preferred method of communicating with brands, drives more sales than social media, has greater reach than social media and produces more ROI.

In another month, a new decade will begin. And, as always, businesses will be
assessing work strategies as they do at the end of the year or at the beginning of
the next. Businesses do this to create new strategies that can boost productivity or
do away with systems and work§ows that are no longer relevant today. According
to reviews from business experts at eTargetMedia, email marketing is often talked
about as a marketing tool that has been around since the early days of the internet.
Will it still be relevant in 2020?
The COVID-19 pandemic is pushing brands to connect digitally and email marketing is offering a perfect opportunity for
marketers to reach their customers. People are stuck in their homes and are spending more time online and with most
retail stores shut down across the country, marketers are taking advantage of email marketing to motivate customers to
shop online. Email marketing is even more important now as many other marketing channels have been pushed aside amid
the crisis.
Even During Challenging Times, Now is a Great Time to Advertise!eTargetMedia Reviews
During these unprecedented times, many marketers may consider cutting their advertising budgets due to fears of
recession. Some data is showing that the United States may already be in a recession but economists expect this
recession to be short-lived. Many economists believe that the U.S. economy will rebound in Q3 and Q4 of this year. This
means that now is the perfect time to advertise and is especially important for businesses who serve essential products to
consumer and B2B markets.
Cold emailing essentially means sending emails to prospective clients or customers whom you are yet to know and
build relationships with. Thus, developing a solid cold email strategy requires learning the best practices, explains
email marketing service company eTarget Media. Let’s review some ways to develop a sound and effective cold email
campaign.
While social media gets all of the buzz, email marketing is still the most important element of any digital marketing strategy. Email marketing produces the most sales conversions and highest ROI of all marketing channels. Email also has the highest customer acquisition and retention rates. Strategic use of email marketing can help increase B2B sales and make a major difference in your bottom line. One way to ensure your email marketing campaigns are successful is to stay tuned in to the email trends and follow the trends that consistently produce positive results. Personalization, customer segmentation and ensuring your emails are mobile-friendly are the key considerations that should be involved in your email strategy. If you are looking to increase your B2B email marketing performance, then these key factors should be considered.
Email marketing campaigns should be approached with strategy in mind. Consider this – beginning a campaign without any optimization or collection of data will most likely result in subpar results at best. It’s important that when you deal with marketing that you take it one step at a time. Because in the end, you want to improve your business value and become wellknown in the public eye, rather than being labeled a spammer.

CAKE: Sharing Slices of Confidential Data on BlockchainClaudio Di Ciccio
Presented at the CAiSE 2024 Forum, Intelligent Information Systems, June 6th, Limassol, Cyprus.
Synopsis: Cooperative information systems typically involve various entities in a collaborative process within a distributed environment. Blockchain technology offers a mechanism for automating such processes, even when only partial trust exists among participants. The data stored on the blockchain is replicated across all nodes in the network, ensuring accessibility to all participants. While this aspect facilitates traceability, integrity, and persistence, it poses challenges for adopting public blockchains in enterprise settings due to confidentiality issues. In this paper, we present a software tool named Control Access via Key Encryption (CAKE), designed to ensure data confidentiality in scenarios involving public blockchains. After outlining its core components and functionalities, we showcase the application of CAKE in the context of a real-world cyber-security project within the logistics domain.

HCL Notes und Domino Lizenzkostenreduzierung in der Welt von DLAUpanagenda
Webinar Recording: https://www.panagenda.com/webinars/hcl-notes-und-domino-lizenzkostenreduzierung-in-der-welt-von-dlau/
Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software FuzzingAftab Hussain
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.
