GM India plans to invest $300 million over the next two years to launch six new products including a compact car, sedan, multi-utility vehicles, van and pick-ups. SKNL is undertaking a repositioning exercise for its apparel brands Reid & Taylor and Belmonte, which has seen growth in the Indian market, and has invited up to five advertising agencies to pitch brand campaigns. Tata Power aims to generate at least 25% of its power from clean sources like wind by 2017, and will invest around Rs. 5,000 crore in wind energy alone to increase capacity from 200MW currently to around 8,000MW by adding 100-150MW annually through 2017.
