This document provides instructions for resetting common error codes on Canon MP145 and MP160 printers. For error code E27, which indicates an ink absorber is full, there are two reset methods - one for each printer model. The steps turn the printer off and on while pressing buttons to reset a waste ink counter. For error code E3, which indicates a paper jam, additional steps include changing a display number and removing then reinstalling ink cartridges. Common errors like out of ink or paper and carriage issues are also listed along with their error codes.

1. ERROR CODE CANON MP145/MP160 :
E2-2 = tidak ada kertas (ASF)
E3-3 = Paper jam
E4 = tidak ada tinta/cartridge
E5-5 = ink cartridges tidak terpasang atau cartirdge yang terpasang salah (tidak compatibel)
E8 = absorber full, atau platen waste ink absorber full mita direset
E9 = hubungan ke digital camera / video camera tidak support
E14 = Ink cartridges whose destination are wrong
E15 = Ink cartridge tidak terpasang E16 - Ink remaining is unknown
E16 -E19 = masalah pada scan head alignment sheet
E22 = Carriage error
E23 = Paper feed error
E24 = Purge unit error (bagian cleaning head)
E25 = ASF(cam) sensor error
E26 = Internal temperature rise error
E27 = ink absorber full or platen waste ink absorber full > reset dengan toolsnya
E28 = Ink cartridge temperature rise error -
E29 = EEPROM error
E33 = Paper feed position error
E35 15 = USB Host VBUD overcurrent error - USB
E37 17 = motor driver tidak normal
E40 20 = hardware lain error
E42 22 = Scanner error

2. Error E-27 reset printer canon MP 160 and 145
Method 1 (Canon MP 160)
The steps are:
1. Turn off the printer, but the power cable still connected.
2. Hold down the Stop / Reset then press and hold the ON / OFF.
3. Once the LED ON / OFF light is green, press the Stop / Reset twice and then release simultaneously
(the Stop / Reset and ON / OFF). At first pressing the Stop / Reset, Alarm LED will light.
4. Wait indicator on segment 7 to 0.
5. Press the Stop / Reset in accordance with the above function. LED is green-orange alternately in the
LED ON / OFF and Alarm.
6. After that, turn the printer off and on again.
Method 2 (Canon MP 145)
Steps:
1. Unplug the power cord
2. Press and hold the Stop / Reset.
3. Insert the power cable
4. Press and hold the Power button (the button Stop / Reset fixed in press)
5. Permanent press the Power button, then release the Stop / Reset.
6. Press the Stop / Reset 2x then take off the Power button.
"Wait until the number 0 appears on the display"
7. Press the Stop / Reset 1x.
8. Press the Power button 1x, the printer will print a sheet of paper.
9. Press the Stop / Reset 2x.
10. Press the Power button 1x, the printer printing of simple one sheet of paper
11. Press the Stop / Reset 3x.
12. Press the Power button 1x. (No printing process)
13. Press the Stop / Reset 4x
14. Press the Power button long & 1x somewhat off (to turn off the printer).
"If the printer still can not be turned off, unplug the printer power cable".
15. Turn on the printer.
16. E27 error message is gone & the printer is running normally.

3. canon mp145 error for E-3 made by my friend as follows:
Step 1: Push the Power switch by Continue (Press Power On / Off)
Step 2: inserrt plug (Input Power, Power Bear Press)
Step 3: Press the Reset Button 1x, release Pwr Button, Press the reset two more times until Becoming 0
(press the button without a pause)
Step 4: Push + display change from 0 to 1 (press the + button to change the 0 to 1)
Step 5: Push the Power switch again, Printer Will be print 1 page (press the power button -> start button
until ngeprint 1 thing.)
Step 6: Open the cover (lid printer)
Step 7: Unplug (disconnect the power cord)
Step 8: Take out the ink 40 and 41 (remove the cartridge 40 and 41)
Step 9: Insert the plug again (plug the power cord)
Step 10: Push the power switch (press the power button)
Step 11: Open the cover (cover scan) (open the scanner lid)
Step 12: Inksert ink 40, 41 again (input cartridge 40 and 41)
and if it does not run only until the reset process in step 4 .. maybe tank / ink cartridge problem .. try to
borrow a friend and the ink tank in case of a printer display nunjukkin E16 ..
try the following recipe ngereset waste ink counter (E16 error):
1. Turn off the printer (power cable is still plugged), press and hold the STOP / RESET then press the ON /
OFF
2. Hold the ON / OFF, press the STOP / RESET 2x
3. Release both buttons and the printer will enter SERVICE MODE
4. The printer will be charging
5. After the printer has finished charging, press the STOP / RESET 4x. (Waste ink counter reset)
6. Each time the button STOP / RESET button, light ON / OFF will turn green and orange
7. Turn the printer off and unplug the POWER
8. Turn the printer back on.
