ERG Theory is a motivation theory developed by Clayton Paul Alderfer in 1969 as an alternative to Maslow's hierarchy of needs. It proposes that there are three core human needs - Existence, Relatedness, and Growth - that drive motivation and behavior. Darwinian Pursuits explores evolutionary psychology concepts related to survival, reproduction, kin selection, reciprocity, conformity, authority, scarcity, commitment, and optimal distinctiveness.
