Park and Recreational Districts
Transform your community’s vision into reality
Engineering Resource Associates, Inc. (ERA) understands why park
districts are a vital component to each community. Neighborhood parks
are the focal point for both active and passive recreational opportunities.
From developing high-traffic athletic fields to environmentally sensitive
nature areas, our staff has the experience to bring your park district’s
vision to reality.

ERA can transform your vision into a comprehensive master plan. When
developing a neighborhood park, it’s important to use and retain an
engineering firm that understands the latest stormwater requirements
and necessary permitting process to properly develop a site from its
inception.

We are “green”
ERA is a client-focused, full capability engineering firm. Our staff
includes environmental scientists who understand wetland impacts,
environmental permitting, impervious surfaces and the latest trends
related to “green roofs” and sustainable building. Our staff offers an
extensive range of environmental and site development services, as well
as recreation, construction, water resources, surveying and mapping, and
infrastructure services.

We are active in the community
ERA understands and appreciates that recreational projects can involve
numerous stakeholders and that a wide variety of interests must often be
addressed. The key, then, to successfully delivering a new or improved
recreational facility not only depends on a consulting firm’s technical
ability, but on the communication skills of its staff. ERA’s staff and
principals, which remain involved throughout your project’s duration,
have the necessary communication skills and eagerly work with our
clients in a goal-driven, team approach. Our technical experience enables
us to identify and resolve problems to keep your project on track, our
project management skills ensure that it is delivered on-time and within
budget, and our ability to work with our clients and their stakeholders in
an effective manner means that ERA will be part of the solution…not part
of the problem.

Some of ERA’s recent park district projects include:

• Golf course design • State park improvements
