2. The Straits Times Index (STI) ended 27.01 points or 0.78% lower to 3432.78, taking the year-to-date performance
to +2.01%.
The top active stocks today were Singtel, which declined 0.92%, UOB, which declined 0.70%, DBS, which gained
closed unchanged, CapitaLand, which declined 4.26% and OCBC Bank, with a 0.95% fall.
The FTSE ST Mid Cap Index declined 0.95%, while the FTSE ST Small Cap Index declined 1.41%.
The outperforming sectors today were represented by the FTSE ST Consumer Services Index, which rose 0.02%. The two
biggest stocks of the Index - Jardine Cycle & Carriage and Genting Singapore – ended unchanged and 0.50% higher respec-
tively.The underperforming sector was the FTSE ST Utilities Index, which slipped 3.30%. United Envirotech shares de-
clined 1.12% and Hyflux declined 2.70%.

BUY KINGSMEN AT CMP 1.040 TARGET 1.080 1.120 SL 1.000
KINGSMEN has appreciated on 1.96% on yesterday. The stock is now
forming a higher top 1.060 and higher low 1.020 formation and also
managed to breach its 100 days SMA and ended up at 1.040. The
stock is expected to continue its uptrend and test higher levels of
1.080-1.120 in coming trading sessions. The RSI is at 66.011.

Straits Times Index was sluggish on yesterday. STI was open lower at
3,448.68 and ended green after down trading session due to profit book-
ing at higher levels at it made a high of 3,467.22 but ended down shred-
ding more than –11.40 points to end at 3,459.79. The RSI for index is at
31.970.
