What changes will I see in 2015?

The big changes in 2015 will be:
• Outlook will be rolled out to
manage corporate email, calendar
and contacts (replacing Lotus
Notes). It will be available in a
desktop/client version as well as a
mobile version (for existing
corporate mobile or BYOD users).
• Skype for Business will be
introduced for instant messaging
(replacing Sametime).

How to install Outlook and Skype for Business on your laptop
Click on the ‘Ready O365 ‘
Button Wait for a few seconds
You will receive this message.
The message is purely
informational and can be closed
(it will close by itself after 10 seconds)
A message will be displayed
‘Your installation will start now’.
An orange window will be displayed,
showing you the progress of your
installation. The installation will take a
few minutes.
After a few seconds the orange
progress window will close.
A new window will now be visible
in the right hand corner of your screen.
This window will continue to show you
the progress of your installation.
When your installation has completed
the following window will be displayed
‘Office 365 Setup Complete.’
2 new Icons will appear on your task
bar – Outlook and Skype.

Click on the Outlook ICON
on the taskbar
A ‘welcome’ window will be displayed
‘Welcome to Outlook 2013’
Press ‘Next”
Add an Email Account window
will be displayed
Select ‘Yes’
Press ‘Next’
Add an Email Account’ window will be
displayed again
‘Congratulations! Your email account
was successfully configured and is
ready to use’ is displayed
Press ‘Finish’
‘Auto Account Setup’ window will be
displayed
Option Email Account will be pre- selected
‘Email Address ‘ address is populated in
the Email Address box.

Press ‘Next’
