1) The study aimed to assess the correlation between endothelial function measured by Angiodefender and arteriovenous fistula (AVF) maturation at 6 weeks. It also examined the role of anastomosis angle in AVF maturation. 2) The results found that endothelial function as measured by Angiodefender value does not predict AVF maturation. An anastomosis angle below 95 degrees was associated with 50% AVF failure, but the finding was not statistically significant. 3) Larger studies are needed to further assess the role of endothelial function and anastomosis angle in AVF maturation.
