Design, Electrostatic and Eigen Frequency Analysis of Fixed–Fixed Beam MEMS R...IOSR Journals
This document describes the design, electrostatic analysis, and eigenfrequency analysis of a fixed-fixed beam MEMS resonator using COMSOL Multiphysics software. The resonator is made of poly-silicon with dimensions of 50um length, 10um width, and 2um thickness. Electrostatic analysis shows the pull-down voltage is achieved at a displacement of 2/3 the initial gap. Eigenfrequency analysis reveals 6 vibration modes with fundamental frequency of 7.09MHz and higher frequencies up to 71.55MHz, following the expected relationship between frequency and beam dimensions. The resonator could enable miniaturized oscillators for various applications.
Speed and Position Control of Train Sytem Using GPSIOSR Journals
This document summarizes a system for controlling the speed and position of a train using GPS. The system includes modules on the train and at a railway control board (RBC) section. On the train, GPS is used to determine the current position and speed, which is sent to the RBC via Zigbee wireless transmission. At the RBC, the train's position and speed are displayed. The system can also automatically control the speed of the train and activate level crossing gates based on the train's position. The goal is to help avoid accidents by monitoring the train's location and speed in real-time.

This document discusses defining and non-defining relative clauses. It defines relative clauses as dependent clauses that provide information about an antecedent in the main clause. Defining relative clauses identify the antecedent, while non-defining relative clauses provide extra identifying information about the antecedent. The document provides examples of defining and non-defining relative clauses using different relative pronouns and linkers.
Survey on Single image Super Resolution TechniquesIOSR Journals
Abstract:Super-resolution is the process of recovering a high-resolution image from multiple low-resolutionimages of the same scene. The key objective of super-resolution (SR) imaging is to reconstruct a higher-resolution image based on a set of images, acquired from the same scene and denoted as ‘low-resolution’ images, to overcome the limitation and/or ill-posed conditions of the image acquisition process for facilitating better content visualization and scene recognition. In this paper, we provide a comprehensive review of existing super-resolution techniques and highlight the future research challenges. This includes the formulation of an observation model and coverage of the dominant algorithm – Iterative back projection. We critique these methods and identify areas which promise performance improvements. In this paper, future directions for super-resolution algorithms are discussed. Finally results of available methods are given. Keywords: Super-resolution, POCS, IBP, Canny Edge Detection

The document discusses sales maximization by a firm. It contains:
1) A graph showing total revenue, total cost, and profit curves, with the optimal output for profit maximization being where the total profit curve is highest, but output for sales maximization being where total revenue is highest even though profit is lower.
2) An explanation that according to an economic professor, a modern firm aims for sales maximization subject to a profit constraint. This equilibrium is reached at the point where the total profit curve intercepts the minimum profit line.
3) The conclusion that the equilibrium output for a firm aiming for sales maximization while maintaining a minimum profit is where total output is at level OX on the graph.

The feedback received from the rough cut of the music video helped improve the final video in several ways: [1] Certain shots were cropped or re-shot to maintain consistent aesthetics, and smoother cuts and clearer scenes were added. [2] Color grading was added to bring out a green, red, and white color scheme. [3] Effects were utilized to create more vivid darkness surrounding the main character. Feedback from Survey Monkey and YouTube also helped the filmmakers understand what was effective and what needed improvement. Feedback on the digital packaging and website similarly highlighted inconsistencies that were addressed by aligning colors, fonts, layouts, and themes across all elements of the project.

This document discusses using a genetic algorithm to optimize the resonant frequency of a coaxially fed rectangular microstrip antenna. The genetic algorithm optimizes patch length, width, and feed position at frequencies of 3GHz, 5GHz, and 10GHz. Results showed the optimized antennas had return losses of -18.7dB, -22.03dB, and -41.75dB respectively at the desired frequencies, indicating good impedance matching. Radiation patterns were also verified to show forward radiation and no backward radiation, validating the design accuracy. The use of genetic algorithms for antenna design optimization encourages accurate resonant frequency evaluation.
Mary-Lynn Epps suggests ways to bring collaboration, inquiry, and connectivism into online and blended learning settings to benefit learners. This includes using literacy and numeracy circles, demonstrations of learning through media instead of worksheets, mindmaps for various subjects, collaborative problem solving and peer feedback, and establishing shared values to promote belonging. An inquiry-based approach engaging students' interests can facilitate learning anywhere anytime. Technology allows learning to occur across blended or fully online settings and can also enhance traditional classrooms.
Performance Analysis of Various Symbol Detection Techniques in Wireless MIMO ...IOSR Journals
Abstract : Wireless communication is one of the most effective areas of technology development of our time. Wireless communications today covers a very wide array of applications. In this paper, we study the performance of general MIMO system, the performance of Zero Forcing (ZF), Linear Least Square Estimator (LLSE), V-BLAST/ZF, V-BLAST/LLSE of 4x4, 4x6 & 4x8 with 4-QAM & 16-QAM modulation in i i d Rayleigh fading channel. We seen that SER performance of 4x8 antennas and 4-QAM modulation scheme outperforms others. Result shows that for higher modulation schemes SER performance degrades as well as SER performance increases for higher no of receiver antennas. Keywords - Multi Input Multi Output, Zero-forcing receiver, Linear Least Square Estimation, V-BLAST.
This document describes the design, implementation, and control of a humanoid robot for obstacle avoidance using an 8051 microcontroller. The robot is designed to resemble human proportions to enable human-like walking. Infrared sensors are installed to detect obstacles in the environment. Based on sensor information, an obstacle avoidance method is proposed using software to determine a free path for the robot to avoid obstacles and reach its destination. The hardware and software to create an autonomous system are developed and implemented, though human-like walking was not achieved due to system limitations.

Piet Mondrian was a Dutch painter born in 1872 who helped develop abstract art. He was interested in experimenting with light, color, and form. Mondrian primarily used the primary colors of red, blue, and yellow in his paintings, as well as black, white, and gray. He only used straight horizontal and vertical lines when creating his abstract, non-representational artworks. Students recreated some of Mondrian's iconic abstract compositions using colored paper and lines during art sessions.
