Manarola is a small town in northern Italy that is part of the municipality of Riomaggiore in the La Spezia province. It has traditionally relied on fishing and winemaking, being especially renowned for its Sciacchetrà wine. In recent years, tourism has become important for Manarola and the neighboring Cinque Terre towns, attracting visitors to attractions like the hiking trails between the towns and vineyards. Manarola features brightly colored houses and was the subject of paintings by Antonio Discovolo.
