Engineering Management Experience GPA 3.24
Autonomous Vehicle Systems lab
 The Undergrad Engineering Research Team at UIW (University of the Incarnate Word) worked in cooperative behavior between
ground robots and unmanned aerial vehicles. Using an Infrared camera system to program Qbots/Qballs to simulate operation of
autonomous military grade drones and ground robots. Testing, programing, and observation skills were key to this project. My
team retrofitted the robots and drones with Artificial Intelligence enabling them to learn from experience and create failsafe
systems. Through this project, I gained experience in management, emerging technologies, and training in MatLab with
Quanaser controls.
Senior Design Project
 The 2015 senior design project at UIW was done in collaboration with Festo Robotics. The goal was to create fully automated
ground vehicles with an unmapped terrain recognition system. Appling an assortment of sensors to a ground robot and
programing via RobotinoView and Matlab to perform various programs. I used engineering concepts to manage and prevail in
this fast pace and changing environment. It gave me the ability to learn how to multitask and manage multiple projects at once.
A strong foundation in Project Management helped me become a viable leader and prove essential to the project.
