A Hybrid DLT Smart Contract Pair for ISO Verification & Settlement of IPP Power
Production :
Primary Use Case Description
EnerSettle_ISO2IPP is a Pair of Integrated Smart Contracts hosted on a public IOTA DLT and private EOS DLT which
exchange private DLT messaging , public key distribution a mutually record verified ISO & IPP actions to :
1- Write Power Generation System Canbus/TCP Power output records immutable to the public IOTA DLT “Tangle”
2- IPP Qubic SC sends public key access over TCP to the ISO for review and for other public regulatory use allowed by the IPP
3- IPP Qubic SC record ISO verification and Settlement of IPP power generation output to IOTA’s Tangle
4- Via ERC20 DLT EOS SC automatically read from IOTA’s Tangle the ISO verification & trigger IPP EOS SC generated
remittance Invoices either written to the ISO designated DLT orby sending public key access to private IPP EOS DLT.
5- ISO remittances are then EOS SC received by the IPP via the ERC20 DLT protocol or via direct manual ISO to EOS SC UI
interaction over a secure TCP connection.
6- On receipt of ISO Remittance EOC SC batch execute IPP EOS SC calculation of investor payouts records paid direct to the
investor designated wallet over the investor designated DLT, recorded to the IPP private EOS DLT and the investor designated
DLT

“EnerSettle” Open Source Token Overview
The EnerSettle_ISO2IPP POC proposes to create the following Open source Generic Securitized Token Solution
where the first “Operational” IPP SC is implemented in the Java version of the IOTA DAG Tangle Public Distributed
Ledger using fast PoW Consensus verification, using the new Qubic SC logic, which is then “hybrid” integrated into the
second 2nd IPP “Backoffice” SC implemented in C++ on the EOS Blockchain DLT using DPoS Consensus verification.
● EnerSettle enables an IPP to create a Token Annuity Payout BackOffice System for the Power Generation Sector utilizing
a Hybrid private/public ledger design.
● EnerSettle’s SCADA Gateway API enables any popular SCADA system utilizing Canbus/TCP protocol to, via the
EnerSettle_ISO2IPP Qubic SC logic, customize the way power output is written to IOTA public DLT called the Tangle.
● EnerSettle_ISO2IPPQubic SC, in combination with the EnerSettle_ISO2IPPEOS SC makes it easy for any IPP to create an
IPP branded ERC20 compliant Securitized Token to support IPP annuity payouts to crypto investors of specific power
generation projects, based on ISO verified IPP power output for a specific project.
● The licensing of the generic EnerSettle SC logic for both IOTA and EOS SCs will be hosted on Github and licensed under

● IPP vs ISO Power Output/Revenue Payout Reconciliation to facilitate Trusted ISO payout to IPP quickly-
today this is slow for IPPs and difference disputes are people governed, often causing dividend delay payout
to investors in the project
● Why? Because SCADA information manually managed by people and can be altered
● IPP Internal power to dividend calculation/conversion as well as payout to investors is slow and not
transparent, and by necessity managed manually & privately, also a slow and error prone process.
● Project Dividends today are paid out as an annuity or as non-voting preferred share dividends and not easily
traded in the public financial markets, and certainly not as crypto tokens- partly contributing to the shrinkage
of addressable investor market for power generation projects vs. other investment vehicles & financial
instruments

Proposed Project Parties, Customer Needs
Mr. Reive is the inventor of the EnerSettle Generic Open Source Token and
currently is the contracted CTO of V3wind.com and it partly responsible for sourcing
Securitized Token capability described as the aforementioned solution.
V3Wind.com is technically able to release a non-subsidized Wind power generation
technology into the energy market which achieves price parity with thermal power
generation
V3Wind seeks to acquire the discussed solution capabilities as an Enterprise cloud
service which can be customized to their internal and investor needs with service &
support, and with full regulatory compliance with several different ISOs and govts.
Mr. Reive is the creator of Solution & Software Architecture of the
EnerSettle_ISO2IPP solution proposed as a PoC to the IOTA Ecosystem Fund .
Mr. Reive intends to outsource and project manage the Open Source development,
simulation and testing of the EnerSettle_ISO2IPP PoC to third parties capable of
developing in Java (IOTA) and C++(EOS) where use cases and test plan will be
managed online with all test plans and result results available to interested parties
free of charge.

Tokenized Power Generation for the Masses
IPPs “Independent Power Providers” and Utilities can implement their own multiple
EnerSettle_ISO2IPP SC Pairs as autonomous “SCI” to support unique Project Token
Gensite Instances to quickly securely write their power generation project power output
automatically to the IOTA Public Distributed Ledger Tangle so as to get paid faster by the
ISO and meet regulatory reporting requirements at low cost. Power Generation Sites host
at least two of their own EnerSettle Qubic SCs hosted and optimized with Project Site
hosted IOTA Tangle SuperNodes, which can operate adjacent to other Control processes
which write Power Generation platform SCADA power output information tailored by
SCADAToken rule sets controlled by the IPP.
EnerSettle_ISO2IPP EOS SC Backoffice instances easily, securely and transparently read
from the IOTA SuperNodes via EnerSettle public key granted access to the IPPs power
output information stored in the hosted IOTA Tangle instances, and then the Backoffice
instances auto-audit all related internal ledger transactions and tokenize the IPP’s “after
costs” net revenue generated from each of their projects on the Backoffice private DLT
instances as well as the annuities paid to project EnerSettle holders of record for each
project token series, via the public DLT API, easily making those EnerSettle “white label”

Because SCADA information manually managed by people and can be altered ● IPP Internal power to dividend calculation/conversion as well as payout to investors is slow and not transparent, and by necessity managed manually & privately, also a slow and error prone process. ● Project Dividends today are paid out as an annuity or as non-voting preferred share dividends and not easily traded in the public financial markets, and certainly not as crypto tokens- partly contributing to the shrinkage of addressable investor market for power generation projects vs. other investment vehicles & financial instruments
