The Abzyme Research Foundation commissioned a UX design project to redesign their outdated website for their #endHIV campaign. The goals were to convey the scientific message of funding an HIV vaccine through arts and entertainment content, while capturing younger audiences and converting donors. Through user research, testing, and iterations with the client, the design team created an interactive prototype that bridged the arts/science gap and prompted users to take action through creative content and clear information about the cause. The final design was well-received in testing for achieving the dual objectives of engaging users and sufficiently informing them to donate or sign up.
