Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. - 2. The Encore OPAC upgrade adds some new features to the library catalog.
- 3. One of the biggest changes is the addition of Advanced Search.
- 4. The Advanced Search link is located directly under the search box on our OPACs...
- 5. …and in the results pages.
- 6. Advanced search lets you search Keyword, Title, Author, or Subject.
- 7. Combine terms with AND – OR – NOT boolean logic.
- 11. Let’s do a search for cats and limit to DVD and VHS.
- 12. Click the dropdown menu to Limit by Format. Choose DVD.
- 13. Now we need to add another Format box. Click the plus sign.
- 14. Click the dropdown menu to Limit by Format. This time, choose videocassette.
- 16. We’re searching for items with the keyword Cat.
- 17. And we’re limiting our results to DVD and videocassette.
- 18. Click Search.
- 19. Here’s our results list for 106 videos/DVDs related to Cats.
