He needs to learn when to
walk away from a company
or interview that isn’t
worth his time.
He needs to improve his
method of communication:
Sometimes the best
method for getting what
you want is giving it first. A
smile can beget a smile.
He needs to pick
companies whose
methods coincides with his
own practices.
He needs to ask more
meaningful questions.
1. “Crap Shoot - the whole idea about "professional
culture" is a load of crap; people are still human & act
human, for better or for worse”
2. ” you have to fake an interview, fake yourself, read the
interviewer, get on their good side somehow someway
spark chemistry… ”
3. ” when people are nice, helpful, its great to get to
know these new people and create new relationships;
its self affirmation
4. ” doing your job right; more self affirmation ”
5. ” honestly – haha. Just a smile
6. ” I quit my first job. It was not going anywhere. It was a
closed minded atmosphere ”
7. ” I learned a lot from it, but to be honest - I don’t see
it going anywhere I wanted it to be ”
8. ” I cant blame the country for the level of stupidity ”
9. ” disorganization and lack of integrity, lack of common
sense, lack of facts ”
10. ” the work was just work. Nothing special. At the end
of the day - I do want something more ”
Disappointment from being
treated like a commodity
Frustration in being forced
to kowtow to hypocrites
Empowerment from doing
work well
Disheartening doing work
not worth doing
I have to fake it to make it
Why can’t they treat me like a human
being or an equal, I’m not begging, I
have skills
How can I be the most professional
person here?
Very particular, but goal
oriented, self motivated,
& fact driven, thoughtful
John Doe
