I can’t find a job because it
requires more experience
I don’t know where exactly
to look for jobs in my field
Lots of theory,
not enough practice
I’m a little embarrassed when
I have to show off my work
Discouraged and
rejected by companies
Education process
is not enough
Lacking confidence
and incentive
Low self-esteem
University doesn’t give enough
attention for the after-school life.
School wasn’t enough to
give me a good portfolio
it’s hard to find a job
as soon as we graduate
Employers and university are the
biggest stakeholdes in this process.
School should make students
more prepared for the job market.
The design/arts fileld doesn’t have
enough investiments in my country (Brazil)
Sometimes I think employers are
not comfortable giving me a chance
I get nervous on
job interviews
I wish school could show us students how studios
and agencies really work on a day to day basis.
I think we’re given a lot of theory
and then thrown in the job market
A recently graduated designer with little experience and lack of confidence needs a way to be more prepared for the job market
in order to be given a chance by employers.
I wish I had more life experience (other
cultures) before committing to a job
Companies should be encouraged
to give new talents a chance
International
exchange programs
A place (portal) to concentrate job offers and to showcase
the work of recently graduated designers and artists.
