1. Emonde M Prosper
Spoken Word Poet - Creative Entrepreneurship Advocate – Media
Personality - Education Specialist
Spoken Word - Artist Entrepreneurship Activism - Community Engagement – Self-Expression
Emonde M Prosper is an author, spoken word poet, arts journalist
and cultural diplomat on creative entrepreneurship. Founder and
CEO of RegalPoete, an arts and education programming company,
she devotes her time to developing artists into small business
owners. With her first book, “Enough is Enough: Pay Me for
Thou Art” she continues to be a passionate vocal advocate for the
mental and social reform of the prosperous artist in all
art forms.
Emonde M Prosper is an entrepreneurial-minded professional, which has a deeply profound respect for literary
arts. A poet herself, she has witnessed the direct correlation between spoken word poetry and healing. This
notion was quickly amplified by her conviction that the poetry done in the oratory form of spoken word can not
only sustain audiences, but it should (and can be) a financially viable way of life for the author. It is with that
premise, Emonde merged her abilities as a writer and educator together, coupled with her keen business
convictions, to bring forth a new identity where she now is an integral part of the solution. In November of 2011
Ms. Prosper partnered with longtime friend and muse Tianna Cohen-Paul to create Fly by Mic. Being a devout
mother of a creative child, she made this journey that of the tangible realization of her ambitions to develop
artists and arts business leaders. Being the machine behind Fly By Mic became two fold, the platform in which
she promoted profound poetic orator Tianna Cohen-Paul, and to help woman and children far and wide.
Emonde says, "As a mother, nothing is more important than to teach my child that no matter how small we
begin there is a God who will make a big difference through our faithful actions."
