Embedded Software Engineer Automotive
Department
The Department Architecture and Diagnosis is responsible for the development of all vehicle electrical
systems that are part of the total electrical system of the vehicle except the engine controller. This
department consists of several groups, including the group Architecture and Diagnosis.

The Group Architecture and Diagnosis is responsible for the development and production engineering of the
vehicle control systems. The department is also involved in application software development for some of
these controllers.

Function
As an embedded software engineer you are involved in the development of electric vehicle systems during
the full systems lifecycle, from development, production start upto lifetime support. The next assignments will
be expected of you:

-   Translate functional software requirements (black box) into software modules.
-   Definition of modules and module communication (interpretation of the software architecture) according
    to the defined software architecture.
-   Develop software module designs that fit within the existing software architecture.
-   Review software designs to feasibility, coding guidelines and testability.
-   Optimizing software modules on code size and execution time.

Profile
For this challenging position we would like to contact candidates with:
- BSc or MSc Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive or Mechatronics
- 5+ years experience with software development for embedded controllers
- Knowledge and experience in structured software development and CAN communication
- Experience in Automotive SPICE and PLC is a plus
- You have knowledge and experience in CAN communication. Knowledge and

Personal skills:
You are independent, but also a successful team worker (SCRUM team). You're critical about your own work
and not easily satisfied. Further you have strong communication skills, can be decisive, have an open
personality and good in sharing your technical knowledge both verbal and in writing. Your English is perfect
and you are motivated to learn Dutch.
