Mason is a primary school teacher who has a flashback to an event from his teenage years. In the present, Mason runs late to work after having coffee with colleagues. On his coffee run, he bumps into a woman named Liz at the coffee shop, spilling her drink. They chat and Mason offers to buy her a replacement. Later, on his way home from work, Mason passes the coffee shop again and sees Liz inside, causing him to get into a near accident with his bike on the street.

FADES IN
EXT. DARK ALLY - EVENING
It is late into the night a two teenage's (one male the
other female) drunkenly stagger down an ally. They are
drunkly singing Oasis. The ally is lit up by near by street
lights.
The male is around 6ft tall and is quite lanky,and has dark
brown scruffy hair. He is wearing a red loose fitting crew
neck jumper, Faded blue jeans cuffed at the bottom, white
socks and black dock marten boots.The girl is shorter, she
has long blond hair. She is wearing a denim jacket, black
jeans and a white converse.
The male teenager appears to have his arm around the female.
The male teenager takes a swig from the bottle and the hands
it over to the female teenager, she continues to drink from
the bottle. She try's to hand the bottle back to him but his
hand slips and the bottle smashes on the floor. He picks up
the broken bottle.
MASON
Ellie, do you want to go back to
mine.
ELLIE

INT. MASONS BEDROOM - MORNING
Mason (now 35) wakes up all sweaty and flustered.
TITLE SEQUENCE
Mason is running trough his morning routine, having a
shower, getting dressed, eating breakfast and brushing his
teeth. he is clearly in a rush. He packs a worm leather bag
with a note book, papers and a lunch he prepared the night
before. He runs outside to the shed and grabs a vintage
looking bike. He throws the brown bag in the basket in the
front, locks up the house and leaves through a side gate. He

then quickly cycles up the street.
INT. CLASS ROOM - DAY
Mason makes it to work (a primary school). He has a brief
exchange with julie (a fellow colleague) and the then goes
strait to his class room. He sits down and releases a long
breath.
Soon a group of children enter the classroom and mason stand
up and welcomes the class.
MASON
Hi everyone sit down.
INT. STAFF ROOM - DAY (LUNCH)
The staff room is a large room, surrounding the room are
blue chairs, that had seen better days, to the left of the
room was a small kitchen. It is lunch time and the staff
room is busy, all the teachers sitting around eating their
lunch talking about their weekend. Mason heads over to the
coffee machine, inserts a capsule, and press's the button.
The machine makes a spluttering noise for a few seconds then
breaks down.
MASON
(muttering)Bloody hell, not
again.(in a loud voice)Everyone the
coffee machines broken, i'm just
popping down to the coffee shop,
would anyone like anything?
A few teachers give Mason their orders, they hand over some
money and then mason fast walks out the staff room.
EXT. SCHOOL / STREET / COFFEE SHOP - DAY

Mason unlocks his bike and cycles out the school gates and
then down some streets until he arrives at a coffee shop.He
then dismounts and locks up his bike.
INT. COFFE SHOP
The coffee shop is heaving with people, mostly students
doing work. At the fount of the coffee shop is sofa's and
filling the centre of the shop is tables and chairs. At the
back of the coffee shop is a counter where you order the
drinks.
Mason weaves through the maze of tables and joins the back
of the queue.
BARISTA
Hello, what can i get for you
today.
MASON
Please can i get 2 medium
cappuccinos, on medium latte and a
flat white.
BARISTA
Yes of course, please can i take
your name.
MASON
Mason. Oh can i have the cups in
one of those carrier trays.
Mason Pays the barista and the barista goes on to make mason
his drinks, mason waits buy the side. A man at the end of
the counter calls Mason to collect his drinks. As Mason
heads down their he accidently bumps into a woman, this
causes the women to spill her coffee over Mason.
LIZ
I'm so sorry, it was an accident, i
just...
MASON
Don't worry about it, it was my
fault, i wasn't looking where i was
going. Let me get you a new coffee.

Thank you so much
MASON
(to barista) hey can you get this
woman a new coffee, i will pay
BARISTA
Ok
MASON
(to liz)do you mind grabbing me a
tissue?
LIZ
Sure, give me a second
Liz collects a napkin and hands it over to mason.
MASON
Cheers, i don't think i have seen
you before, are you from around
here?
LIZ
Yes i just moved in down the road,
what about you?
MASON
That explains why i haven't seen
you before. I'm actually a teacher
in the local primary school.
BARISTA
Your coffee is ready miss
They both go and collect there coffees from the end of the
counter and mason pays for them.
MASON
I have to run sorry, i need to get
these coffees delivered and get a
change of shirt.
LIZ
I will see you around, hopefully
next time i wont spill coffee over
you!

MASON
(laughs)bye.
Mason leaves the coffee shop, places the coffees in the
basket in the front of his bike and then cycles off down the
street. When mason cycles away you can see liz inside the
coffee shop smiling. Mason makes a detour past his house and
changes into a fresh shirt. He then cycles back through the
town to the school.
EXT. SCHOOL - DAY
Mason enters the staff room and hands out the coffees, the
teachers thank mason although look disappointed with because
their coffees as they are now cold.
TEACHER
Took your time
MASON
Sorry i got caught up at the coffee
shop.
Mason leaves the staff room with his coffee and goes back to
his classroom.
EXT. SCHOOL / STREET - EVENING
Mason finnish's working and starts to cycle home, on his way
home he passes the coffee shop. He spots liz inside. Because
of this distraction mason nearly cycles into a car. He falls
of his bike and hits his head. Mason looks up at the coffee
shop and liz is gone. Mason is left confused and then
faints.
