Target Learners: 6th grader
Subject Area: Art
Overview:The class is about teach students different art
basic elements. First I will ask question to warm-up the
class and make students excited. Then I will use SmartBoard
to help students to learn lines, shapes and forms, positive
and negative spaces, color theory, and visual and actual
textural. During the learning process, I will call volunteers
to do the activity use SmartBoard. Students find out the
answer by themselves. In my class presentation I will include
plenty of pictures to help discuss and understand.
Ask question at the beginning of the class and
activities:
Warm-up the class and encourage all students to participate
in the class discussion and activities.
Using pictures:
Visually help students understand and increase the memory.
Discussed from easy art element to hard:
Consider different understanding level between students. From
easy to hard discussion encourage students learn more and
step by step to reach the final goal.
Use different Activities:
To help students check how they learned in class and do the
assessment. Also activities encourage students to participate
in learning. It also help teacher know how his or her
students learned and understand he or she need more
explanation and activity or move to the next knowledge.
