The ELC Fund does not require applicants to
follow a fixed structure/format. Teams are
required to decide on the best structure and
approach for your idea.

ELC Fund
A scheme for funding projects in the computing
field which make people’s daily living more
convenient, comfortable and safer, or address
the needs of specific target groups.
With a maximum seed funding of HK$150,000
over a one-year development plan, ELC Fund
aims to turn ideas with a positive social impact
into reality.
In Assessment 2 (A2), you will collaborate in
groups of 3 or 4 and produce a group project
proposal.

What is peer review?
The Peer Review Activity is an opportunity for
you to:
• receive feedback on your proposal
• learn through giving constructive and
actionable feedback to your peers
• review and finalise your proposal
During Week 7 class, as individuals, you will
complete the peer review activity according to
your teacher’s instructions. You will
• share draft proposal
• go through a Peer Review Sample activity
• review 1 draft proposal from a peer group
• refer to a checklist and give at least FIVE
action points focusing on how your peers
can improve
By giving 5 action points (constructive and
actionable feedback), you will receive 5%.

How will our proposal be graded?
The ELC Fund Assessment Panel will review:
1. Significance of the project goals and social impact
2. Justification of problems, need and opportunities
3. Uniqueness of project idea in comparison with
existing solutions
4. Feasibility of project idea
5. Authenticity and credibility of project team
6. Effectiveness of overall structure
7. Professionalism of overall presentation
