This document summarizes a consultancy to identify and systematize good agricultural practices for a program to improve childhood nutrition and food safety in Peru. The consultancy was funded by the Millennium Development Goals Achievement Fund. The objectives were to systematize 10 good agricultural practices, food handling and storage, natural resource management, and the environment. The methodology included researching existing practices in Peru and other countries, interviews with project staff and officials, and visits to 21 selected sites across Loreto, Apurímac, Ayacucho and Huancavelica. The results section then lists and describes 10 good agricultural practices identified across the different regions.
