This document presents Efruz Asiloglu's theory of cancer carcinogenesis. It suggests that cancer starts with mutations in nuclear DNA and mitochondrial DNA that suppress apoptosis and promote anti-apoptotic activity. These mutations allow cancer cells to avoid identification and removal by macrophages through aberrant signaling pathways, enabling uncontrolled growth.
