I created a YouTube Channel with my friend Jordan where we film vlogs about our students' activities protesting Google Lively and creating Digiteen Island. We have learned a lot and improved our skills. During the Google Lively protest, I delivered a speech standing at the podium in support of keeping it running. I am currently an executive producer for a TV show about my school's Flint River Immersion Project. Our YouTube channel and website taught people about keeping Google Lively and using Reaction Grid, and we taught students about nine aspects of digital citizenship through collaborating with others around the world.

Social media has changed the way television and films can be produced. Producers in New York can interactively discuss scripts, storyboards and rough cuts with their contacts in Los Angeles via on-line or via mobile devices and applications. The implications for integrating mobile media technology into higher education curricula and pedagogic methodology are equally transformative. For faculty teaching film and video production, mobile media can provide students with access to an infinite number of resources that exponentially expand what can be taught, how it can be conveyed, and where learning can take place.
At the University of Cincinnati a group of thirty-three students from four academic programs in three different colleges utilized a variety of social media technologies to experience an interdisciplinary class that was "team-taught" by both their UC Professor and professionals from the film and TV industry in LA and NY. Their work resulted in the 2012 Gold Rush Expedition Race documentary, an hour-long film that will air this March on a national cable television channel.
The Impact of Prejudice on Children's Lives
The project's goal was to reach an audience of middle and high school students in raising awareness of how prejudice affects/impacts a child's life. The IVCs with our partner school inspired my students to choose this topic when they learned that the girls at Al-Fata' planned to volunteer at an orphanage
Pollution - Al-Hasan ibn Al-Haytham High School for Boys
Alhassan bin alhetheam, a student from Irbid, Jordan, participated in a virtual exchange program with students from Brooklyn, NYC to address pollution in their communities. They decided to create an awareness and action project on pollution in Jordan. Through field work like cleaning their school and collecting rubbish, they raised awareness of the issue and encouraged neighbors to collaborate. Their challenges included gaining community participation and persevering at the start, but they were proud of the work and hope it leads to a cleaner, healthier community and country.

High performance Serverless Java on AWS- GoTo Amsterdam 2024
Java is for many years one of the most popular programming languages, but it used to have hard times in the Serverless community. Java is known for its high cold start times and high memory footprint, comparing to other programming languages like Node.js and Python. In this talk I'll look at the general best practices and techniques we can use to decrease memory consumption, cold start times for Java Serverless development on AWS including GraalVM (Native Image) and AWS own offering SnapStart based on Firecracker microVM snapshot and restore and CRaC (Coordinated Restore at Checkpoint) runtime hooks. I'll also provide a lot of benchmarking on Lambda functions trying out various deployment package sizes, Lambda memory settings, Java compilation options and HTTP (a)synchronous clients and measure their impact on cold and warm start times.

Java is for many years one of the most popular programming languages, but it used to have hard times in the Serverless community. Java is known for its high cold start times and high memory footprint, comparing to other programming languages like Node.js and Python. In this talk I'll look at the general best practices and techniques we can use to decrease memory consumption, cold start times for Java Serverless development on AWS including GraalVM (Native Image) and AWS own offering SnapStart based on Firecracker microVM snapshot and restore and CRaC (Coordinated Restore at Checkpoint) runtime hooks. I'll also provide a lot of benchmarking on Lambda functions trying out various deployment package sizes, Lambda memory settings, Java compilation options and HTTP (a)synchronous clients and measure their impact on cold and warm start times.

How information systems are built or acquired puts information, which is what they should be about, in a secondary place. Our language adapted accordingly, and we no longer talk about information systems but applications. - 6. We used this website to teach children about the nine aspects of Digital Citizenship which are security and safety, access, communication, literacy, etiquette, rights and responsibilities, commerce, law, health and wellness. We worked in groups with students from around the world.
- 7. We are currently writing a book about the information you need to know about being digitally connected. In my chapter I was required to write about photography. My partner was Jordan B. we worked extremely hard and completed our chapter within a week. I enjoyed it a lot, because I was allowed to write about a topic that I enjoyed greatly. It has truly been a great accoplishment.
