EFFECTIVE
LEADERSHIP
1.WHO IS A
LEADER?
A leader is someone who can
see how things can be
improved and who rallies
people to move toward that
better vision. Leaders can work
toward making their vision a
reality while putting people
first. Just being able to
motivate people isn’t enough
— leaders need to be
empathetic and connect with
people to be successful.
2
2.WHAT MAKES
AN EFFECTIVE
LEADER?
Effective leaders must have
the ability to communicate
well, motivate their team,
handle and delegate
responsibilities, listen to
feedback and have the
flexibility to solve
problems in an ever-
changing workplace.

 Creating confidence: A leader acknowledges the
efforts of the employees, explains to them their
role clearly and guides them to achieve their
goals. He also resolves the complaints and
problems of the employees, thereby building
confidence in them regarding the organization.
 Co-ordination: A leader reconciles the personal
interests of the employees with the organizational

8. CONCLUSION
Whenever you hear the success stories of any organization, we are immediately reminded of their leaders. Can you
imagine Microsoft without Bill Gates, Reliance Industries without Ambani, Infosys without Narayana Murthy, Tata
without J.R.D. Tata or Wipro without Azim Premji. You would say it is not possible to achieve success without such
great leaders. The leaders always play a key role for the success and excellence of an organization. Therefore it is
important of us to understand the concept of leadership well so that we can implement it in our managerial as well as
daily life activities.
THANK YOU!
