2. 1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 General Introduction
Way of life is a significant determinant of physical health
and psychological well-being. In our habitual life,
approximately every domain of life becomes dependent on
the present apparatus of technology. Technology has
consecrated us beyond price contributions. Where
mindfulness meditation is characterized by attitudes of
attention, carefulness, non-judgment concerning the present
experience and greater connectivity concerning the context it
corresponds to a form of consciousness focused on the
present, in which each thought, emotion, or sensation is
noticed and accepted, Segal et al. (2002). Mindfulness-based
meditation consist of formal and informal meditative
practices which allow individuals to develop metacognitive
skills which are activated when attention is a practitioner in
the present moment.
3. Mindfulness-based meditation consists of formal and
informal meditative practices which allow individuals to
develop meta-cognitive skills which are activated when
attention is anchored in the present moment without any
judgments. From a psychological perspective, these practices
consist of self-regulation of attention, focused on the
perception of immediate experiences, and integrate attitudes
of curiosity, openness, and acceptance of those same
experiences Bishop et al. (2004).
Mindfulness meditation has been theoretically, practically,
and empirically associated with psycho-physiological well-
being. The fundamentals of mindfulness meditation, namely
awareness and nonjudgmental receiving of one's moment-to-
moment understanding, are regarded as potentially effective
antidotes against common forms of psycho-physiological
suffering cogitation, anxiety, fear, anger, and so many of
which engage or over-engage with one's upsetting opinion and
emotions Hayes & Feldman (2004).
4. The previous studies provide evidence that these
programs may have beneficial psychological effects. Even
though the information that research on mindfulness
meditation had previously begun in the 1960s. The
application of mindfulness meditation as a form of
behavioral intervention for clinical problems began with the
work which explored the use of mindfulness meditation in
treating patients with chronic pain now known popularly as
mindfulness-based stress reduction. Mindfulness-based
cognitive therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy
in this review, both mindfulness-based meditation as well as
interventions that teach mindfulness using are considered as
an empirical interest. This study aimed to give a broad
overview of the psycho-physiological effects obtained from
mindfulness meditation on college-going trainee teachers’.
5. 1.2 Aim of this study
This systematic review study was aim to
investigate the effects of mindfulness meditations
on College-Going Trainee Teachers’.
1.3 Objectives of this study
● To find the effect of mindfulness meditation
on college- going trainee teachers'.
● Here in this study, the objective was to investigate
the effect of meditation concerning duration and
frequency
of meditation on selected psychological and
physiological parameters.
6. 1.4 Delimitations
The study was following include the following area….
● Quantitative study.
● Qualitative study.
● The study was conducted full english paper only.
1.5 Limitations
This review study has three limitations.
● There are a small number of studies that met the
inclusion criteria.
● Only the first author reviewed the studies and decided
whether to include them.
● Only three databases were search, so some high-
quality studies may have been missed.
1.6 Keywords:- Mindfulness, mindfulness-based
intervention, meditation, Anxiety.
7. 2. METHODOLOGY
2.1 Literature search
The integrative literature review methods followed
Whittemore and Knafl’s guidelines. The search, which was
conducted in PubMed, Google Scholar, and ResearchGate,
included only empirical studies published in the last 10
years.
2.2 Selection of the study
● Focusing on a mindfulness meditation intervention in
college-going pupils.
2.3 Design of the study
● Secondary & tertiary source of data has been used in
the present study.
● The open access data has been collected from research
base search engine.
8. 3. FINDING AND DISCUSSION
This systematic review study describes different
mindfulness meditations that may influence psychological and
physiological parameters. In all, we found 40 studies that met
our selection criteria. In higher education, the development of
mindfulness-based interventions has been gradual and some
previous studies provide evidence that these programs may
have beneficial psychological effects. Almost the effect of
mindfulness meditation results suggests a strong relationship
between these variables in the pupils’ Stevens (2009). This
might have been an outlier, we performed a psychometric
meta-analysis without it and obtained it, which indicates that
the result found in this single study was responsible for the
originally obtained population variance. This, in turn, indicates
that it might stem from a different population Kobarg (2007).

10. Without the excluded study, the overall effect of
mindfulness meditation was an unusual procedure in
meditation research, which might have been responsible for
the deviating results Birnbaum (2000). Superior knowledge
of how hope and mindfulness work together has value to
the social worker, researchers, and practitioners, especially
since mindfulness-based interventions are becoming ever
more widely employed within social work and research was
growing within the psychology literature on hope-based
therapies. These preliminary findings suggest that
mindfulness meditation may be effective in psycho-
physiological well-being. Further research is acceptable.
Almost studies suggest that mindfulness meditation can
serve as an antecedent to stress reduction that leads to
increases in hope. Although this study involved early stage
theory testing we are conscious of that examines the
mindfulness meditation, we contend that this study
supports further inquiries into these variables.
11. Such future research should engage experimental designs
with occupied randomization and a better variety of
participants per group. Moreover, given that others have also
called on social worker researchers to increase their efforts to
explore the mechanisms of mindfulness. Many researchers
found that mindfulness meditation improves quality of life and
shows positive impact on well-being, psychological state, many
psychosomatic diseases and on physiological aspects also.

12. 4. CONCLUSION
Based on a study of empirical review of related literature
beyond different methodologies, this review comes to an end
that the mindfulness meditation program and its training
facilitate modification of physiological as well as psychological
functioning. Experimental studies of mindfulness meditation all
of which suggest that mindfulness meditation is positively
correlated with psychological and physiological health, training
in mindfulness meditation may bring about positive
psychological as well as physiological effects. The preliminary
evidence suggests that mindfulness meditation interventions
may decrease psychosomatic disorders, anxiety, and depression.
We may conclude that present study provide evidence that
mindfulness meditation can increase physiological as well as the
psychological wellbeing on college-going trainee teachers’.
