What is the real meaning of education?
Education is both the act of teaching knowledge to others and the act of receiving
knowledge from someone else. Education also refers to the knowledge received
through schooling or instruction and to the institution of teaching as a whole. Education

 Partner reading: Paired readers choose a quiet, cozy spot to practice reading to oneanother. Thisactivity provides additional practice
after reading in small groups.
 Monitored reading: Askan aide or parent volunteer to listen to a student’s oral reading and watch for good phrasing and rhythm.
 Repeated reading: Parents may assist with repeated reading at home byasking students to read orallythe same 150-to 200-word
passage repeatedly over several days. Students donot haveto spend more than 10minutes rereadingeach night.
