This document discusses using VoiceThread for student e-portfolios in a 6th grade multidisciplinary project at Blanchard Memorial School. Students were assigned to research an ancient structure, build a scale model, and create an electronic portfolio in VoiceThread to present at a showcase. The VoiceThread portfolios included images of the ancient structures, photos of completed models, scanned calculations pages, and uploaded written summaries with recorded or text comments. The school purchased an educator Pro VoiceThread subscription for $110 per year for 100 student accounts. Students were given unique logins to manage their own VT identities and portfolios without needing email accounts.
