This document summarizes a presentation given at the EU-Japan Conference on Smart Society and Beyond for the Super-Aging Era. The presentation discussed the transition to a fourth industrial revolution driven by connecting cyber-physical systems to each other and the internet. It also addressed issues around establishing an economy where robots can directly interact with digital markets and enter into contracts. The presentation argued for not creating barriers between the human economy and emerging robot economy.
