extensive areas of Open Spaces.
WYG were engaged in 2006, initially by Taylor Woodrow and
George Wimpey in consortium and subsequently by Taylor Wimpey
as sole Client, to deliver Main Infrastructure and off-site S.278
Highway Works to facilitate their house building operations. The
development achieved its 1000th
occupation at the end of July
2014.
Services Provided
• Developing Heads of Terms culminating in completed S106
Agreement.
• Managing and administering consultant appointments.
• Developing and regular reporting against the Programme
and Cost Plan (including cash flow).
• Managing the clearance of planning conditions and
monitoring compliance.
• Obtaining S106 scheme approvals and monitoring
compliance with S106 obligations (Works and
Contributions).
• Developing utility strategies and managing utility
procurement.
• Managing the preparation and securing of all technical
approvals required to deliver the Main Infrastructure
(S38/S278/S104).
• Managing the procurement of Main Infrastructure Works.
• Contract Administration of Main Infrastructure Works.
• Management of land within the development.
• Acting as Site Manager to ensure compliance by house
builders of Site Rules.
• Setting agenda and chairing monthly Client Meetings to
update and advise Members on progress.
