2. About Muybridge
• His photography of moving animals captures movement in a way that
had never been done before and his work is still used by both artists
and scientist
• His work laid the groundwork for the motion picture
industry
• He is famous for setting up a series f cameras to capture a
horse’s legs in motion to settle a debate
• While working at the University of Pennsylvania he
produced thousands of photographs of humans and
animals moving

• For these images, I layered all the images on top of each other. I kept
the base image on 100% opacity and the others I changed to 50%
