قرأت الكثير من قصص المجموعة قبل النشر .. و فوجئت بقصص طيبة المذاق و فريدة من نوعها ... قصص أستلهمها الكاتب من سفرياته الطوال و غربته المستمرة كأنه فضل ان يسافر و يكتب فيحيا و يعش و أن يترك فى كلماته ما تتركه الآثار الكبرى و لكن فى وريقات معدودة .
يهتم "محمد عمر" فى هذه المجموعة بالحس الإنساني بوصفه هو ما يحرك ذواتنا لأفعال و ردود أفعال لا يتوقعها البعض إلا قلة ممن يجيدون وصف اللقطات التى تختصر حيوات عدة فى مشهد واحد معبر مؤثر ... هو كان ممن يقتنصون تلك اللحظات فعبر عنها أدق تعبير و نقلها دون اى إخلال من جانبه لزوايا الحكاية .. فكأنه جلبك معه إلى هناك كى تشاهدوا سوياً مشهد يظهر فيه براعته كرسام بارع أو قل كحاء من الطراز الأول .
