Reinvent and reorganize the work in times of crisis
a memetics perspective for implementing solutions in education and coaching
1. Ispiring ideas and basis concepts
1. Starting from Eleonor Ostrom’s studies (“Governing Commons”), and memetics
approach (memetics studies human culture evolution as genetics studies our
physiological evolution), we start to consider our Culture like a Commons: this
facilitates collaboration and conflict resolution.
2. This event generates a different way to measure “the work’s value”, a different way
to build business models (see Paul Krugman 2008 suggestion “there are solutions
for eating without paying”).
3. This event generate also a different approach to the market (see Blue Ocean
Strategy: make the competition irrelevant), and to internal organization, into public
offices such as into private companies .
4. Using new technologies we can accelerate the transformation process (see
Disrupting Class by Chris Christensen).
2. The “ecocultural system” approach
Brief introduction to this aproach and its characteristics for “interpreting” an organizational
behaviour. The running projects in Italy are:
1. Progetto eXtra (meet and integrate making projects with foreiners)
2. Innovation Spin (new tech in school: students teach to teachers – app, tablet & cloud)
3. Back to School (new approach in training and coaching for italian SME)
