“hybrid”advancedpharmacypractice experience (APPE) rotation.This
hybridrotationhasbeenreplicatedbyseveralfacultymembersand
has expandedtoothersitesinsouthNew JerseyandPhiladelphia.She
createdPCP’sfirstinterprofessionaleducation(IPE) –introductory
pharmacypractice experiences(IPPEs)required longitudinal course
series.Currentlyshe co-coordinates thissix-semesterinterprofessional,
experiential course series withPCPandCMSRU faculty. Thiscourse
seriesinvolvesmedical andpharmacystudents tolearnabout,withandfromeachotherwhile collaboratingto
operate a student-runclinic.The CooperRowanClinicoffersprimarycare andmedicationtherapymanagement
(MTM) servicesto the underservedanduninsuredresidentsof Camden,NJ. Additionally, the longitudinal
deliveryformatallowsforthe attainmentof interprofessionaleducationcore competencies andexperiential
educationhoursincommunityandhospital settings tooccur over3 years.
Service:
Gladyshas established MTMsitesincollaborationwithcommunity pharmacies,physicianofficesandstudent-
run clinics. She currently providesclinical pharmacyservicesatWalgreensandCooperRowan Clinic. She isa
contributorandactive memberof Pennsylvania’sPharmacistsAssociationPharmaceutical Care Network(PPCN),
trainingprogramand mentornetworkservingMTMprovidersacrossthe Commonwealth.She isalsoamember
of the University AcademicAffair’scommittee,PCP’s StrategicPlanningandCurriculum committees,and
Department’sEducationCommittee.
Research:
Her researchinterestsare focusedoninterprofessional education andcommunitypharmacypractice education.
