Profile: Telecommunications analyst
Background: The Insured was engaged
to research a fibre optic network. After
completion of the project, the Insured's client
issued proceedings alleging the Insured had
breached copyright of its network diagrams
and layouts.
Outcome: The matter settled for $40,000, with
$200,000 paid in legal defence costs.
